Procedure:
You will be asked to lie on a table where a technologist will apply a gel to neck area and the probe is used to assess the arteries. Both right and left carotid arteries are evaluated.
After Procedure:
The radiologist will study your images and dictate a report, which will be sent to your physician within 3–5 business days.
